A free webinar, hosted by the Herts and West Essex Diabetes Support Group, is taking place on Wednesday 22nd May 6-7pm.
Type 2 diabetes is largely caused by lifestyle factors which can be modified. This programme focuses on helping people to reduce their weight, increase their physical activity levels and improve their diet, empowering them to take charge of their health and wellbeing and learn how to prevent diabetes. And in this webinar, they show you how it works!
Dr Asif Faizy, a GP at North Watford PCN and Diabetes Clinical Lead for the ICB will introduce the session, and the main presenter is Luke Frampton who is the compliance and GP liaison officer at Living Well Taking Control, the company delivering the National Diabetes Prevention Programme for our area.
