Building Accessibility
The practice has five sites and we have considered patient accessibility at all sites with adjustments such as:
- Automatic Doors
- Lifts in practices with more than one level
- Wheelchair ramps
- Wide Corridors
- “Dropped” reception desks
- Disabled Toilets
- Disabled Parking Bays located close to the front doors
- A hearing loop at each site (please ask a member of the patient services team if you would like to use this)
Interpreters
We have access to both language interpreters and sign language interpreters.
Language Interpreter – Please advise our Patient Services Team if a language interpreter is required for your consultation. The interpreter is normally provided via telephone. With advanced notice a interpreter might be able to be arranged to attend a face-to-face consultation.
Sign Language Interpreter for Deaf Patients – Please advise our Patient Service Team if a sign language interpreter is required for your consultation. This will be arranged through a video link.
Website Accessibility
You can ‘Translate’ the language on the website to a number of different languages, the button is in orange at the top of each page:
Every page on our website has an accessibility tool located on the right hand side of the page, picture below for reference. If you click on this tool the accessibility menu will come up, which allows you to change our website in many ways, which may suit you better.
You can also customise settings depending on which browser or type of smartphone you use, further information can be found below:
