If you’ve never had a COVID-19 vaccine and would like to have one, please come forward by 30th June. After this date, the vaccine will only be offered to those at higher risk of serious infection. Book an appointment to have the jab online: http://nhs.uk/Covid-vaccine or call 119.
COVID-19 Spring Booster Campaign 2023
Eligible patients will be contacted directly by the NHS to where and when they can get their vaccination, this is expected to be during April to June.
The Community and School Age Imms Team from Hertfordshire Community Trust will be vaccinating our older adult care home patients and housebound patients that are 75+ or immunosuppressed. They will contact care homes and patients directly in due course.
Spring booster eligibility:
For information on how to book click HERE or call 119
Patients who are eligible due to them being immunosuppressed may need to provide supporting evidence of this when they attend their appointment, such as a consultant clinic letter.
The Practice has no further information, so patients are asked to not contact the Practice, supporting information can be found on the Gov website HERE
New ways to contact the Vaccine Data Resolution Service (VDRS) and Overseas Service
If a patient thinks their or their child’s COVID-19 vaccination record is missing or wrong, please advise them to call the Vaccine Data Resolution Service on 0300 561 0017. The VDRS will ask them some questions to establish their identity and identify any errors in their vaccination record. NHS 119 is no longer handling these queries but does have a recorded message directing people to the new number.
If a patient was vaccinated outside of England, they will no longer need a face-to-face appointment to update their vaccination record. Instead, they should email evidence to the NHS about any COVID-19 vaccinations they or their child had outside England so their vaccination record can be updated. Please advise them to follow the guidance (this includes people who had their vaccinations in Scotland or Wales).
