Paramedic Practitioner

The practice has a paramedic practitioner who is able to assess chronic and acute conditions, including community-based patients who are registered as housebound.

Paramedic Practitioners can help patients with a wide range of issues such as:

• Assessing and diagnosing.
• Giving expert advice on how best to manage their conditions.
• Referring them onto specialist services if necessary.
• Requesting prescriptions from the GP.

Paramedic appointments are usually booked by the triaging GP or signposted by Patient Services as appropriate. Please note our practitioner works across all five sites.
