NHS Hertfordshire Talking Therapies is launching a menopause and emotional wellbeing group as part of its services supporting people who are struggling with the symptoms of menopause.
It offers a safe space to meet others experiencing similar difficulties, while providing cognitive and behavioural (CBT) tools to help manage symptoms in a more effective way.
The group will start on 13th September 2023 and run for six weeks. Each weekly session will be two hours long and will take place in Welwyn Garden City.
There are also plans to repeat this across Hertfordshire as part of a rolling programme.
Anyone registered to a Hertfordshire GP is eligible to receive help from the Talking Therapies team.
To find out more and refer yourself to the service visit the Hertfordshire Talking Therapies website click HERE.
The team can then make a decision about the best support available to you, which could include being part of the new group.
