Flu and Covid-19 Autumn Booster Plan

We will be running our flu and Covid-19 autumn booster vaccination clinics across all our 5 sites at various times over the next month.

We have run our flu clinics very successfully for many years and including the Covid-19 autumn booster vaccination this year will be an extension of this, allowing eligible patients to receive their vaccination close to home.

FLU ONLY CLINIC:

30th September 2023 – all sites.
Due to vaccine deliveries this is a FLU ONLY clinic.

COVID ONLY CLINICS:

10th and 17th October – The New Surgery

MIXED FLU & COVID CLINICS:

14th October 2023 – Chapel Street, Markyate and Berkhamsted
28th October 2023 – Chapel Street and Berkhamsted

Please note we will also be holding separate weekday clinics for the child flu vaccine (nasal flus).

We will contact eligible patients when it is their turn to book in for each vaccine – please do not contact us until you have received your invite.

The practice is using self-book links to invite eligible patients. This means that patients who meet the criteria for vaccination will receive a text message inviting them to book an appointment online.

Patients who are eligible but do not have a mobile number on their record, or those who do not wish to receive SMS messages from the practice, should have received a letter inviting them for their flu vaccine already and will receive a letter regarding their Covid-19 autumn booster shortly.
