🚨 First Contact Physio Appointments Now Available on Saturday’s 🚨
We’re excited to announce that in partnership with Dacorum Extended Access, we’re now able to offer First Contact Physio appointments at our Berkhamsted Surgery on Saturday’s (every four weeks)! 🏥
The first Saturday clinic will be on 5th October 2024.
Our First Contact Physios (FCPs) are highly trained and experienced physiotherapists who serve as your first point of contact for musculoskeletal concerns.
The role of First Contact Physios in primary care is to assess patients with soft tissue, muscle and joint pain and to decide on the most appropriate management.
They can also:
- Give expert advice on how best to manage conditions.
- Order investigations.
- Make referrals into secondary care services such as physiotherapists, using the same pathways as GPs.
- Arrange prescriptions.
- Provide injection therapy.
No need to wait – get the care you need when it’s convenient for you!
